- *Job Summary**
The Legal & Compliance Intern will support the Legal and Compliance departments in maintaining and enhancing the organization’s regulatory and policy framework. This temporary, part-time, hybrid role offers hands on experience in corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance within a dynamic business environment, combining both in-office collaboration and remote work flexibility.
- *Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with various tasks assigned by the Legal and Compliance teams, supporting day-to-day operations and special projects.
- Review, update, and maintain company policies and procedures to ensure alignment with recent business changes and applicable regulations.
- Conduct basic legal and regulatory research to support compliance initiatives.
- Help track and document compliance activities, audits, and internal reviews.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and internal communications related to compliance matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information needed for policy updates and process improvements.
- *Qualifications and Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Political Science, Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- *Preferred Skills:
- Basic understanding of regulatory requirements and corporate compliance principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Hybrid work from home / typical office in open floor plan with cubicles environment; must have ability and willingness to do both or depending on business demands, including having reliable connectivity to remote office.
