- *About The Role**
We are seeking a talented Freelance Cybersecurity Content Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating in-depth, accurate, and engaging content tailored to the cybersecurity community. Your work will include writing comprehensive articles on topics such as Zero Trust architecture, threat intelligence, cloud security, CSPM/CWPP, and incident response. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent research skills, and the ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts clearly to audiences ranging from C-suite executives to technical analysts. This position offers flexibility to work remotely while contributing to high-profile projects that help establish our clients’ authority and trust in the cybersecurity landscape.
- *Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience as a cybersecurity or InfoSec content writer
- Published work on reputable news sites, industry blogs, or major vendor blogs
- Extensive knowledge of niche topics including IAM, EDR/XDR, Network Security, Ransomware trends, and Compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, NIST)
- Experience writing long-form guides, mitigation articles, tool comparisons, trend reports, and thought leadership content
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Focus on technical accuracy, fact-checking, and high-quality content creation
- *Responsibilities
- Write comprehensive articles on a variety of cybersecurity topics, ensuring clarity and technical accuracy
- Adapt tone and technical depth to suit diverse audiences, from executives to technical analysts
- Create compelling, high-CTR titles that resonate with the cybersecurity community and attract media attention
- Implement editorial and client feedback to ensure content quality and accuracy
- Provide actionable insights and strategies within content to help clients improve their security posture
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to produce engaging and effective content
