Illustrator Needed for Detailed Architectural Campus Scene (Product Label Artwork)

Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled illustrator to create a detailed, hand-drawn style illustration of a well-known university campus landmark for use on a premium product label. We want an artist who can translate a real campus landmark into a polished, emotionally resonant visual with a strong sense of place. The final artwork should feel: - Clean, nostalgic, thoughtful, and not easily replicable - Architecturally accurate, but artistically stylized - Suitable for high-quality print (packaging/label use) This piece will feature: - A recognizable campus building as the focal point - A surrounding outdoor environment (water, landscaping, etc.) - Balanced composition that works within a rectangular label format We will provide: - Reference photos and creative direction after hiring - Clear feedback and fast communication Style Direction We are aiming for something similar to: - Fine line illustration / architectural sketch - Etching or engraved-style line work - Minimal but intentional shading (not overly busy) Deliverables - Vector file (Adobe Illustrator preferred) + high-res PNG - Print-ready formatting Ideal Candidate -Strong portfolio of architectural or landscape illustration, preferred - Experience with product/packaging design is a plus - Ability to interpret references (not just replicate them) - Attention to detail and composition To Apply Please include: - 2–3 relevant samples (architectural or detailed line work preferred) - A short note on your approach to this type of illustration - Estimated turnaround time Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
