What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Analyze trends and patterns in large data sets to establish threat trends across various sectors
- Investigate phishing emails and conduct malware analysis, including basic static and dynamic analysis
- Communicate threat knowledge effectively in a customer-facing environment
- Triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from the employer's email platform efficiently
- Assist various departments with threat intelligence and contribute to external-facing content for the employer’s Threat Labs
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 1 year of experience
- Proficiency with indicators of compromise (IOCs), reverse engineering, and threat campaign tracking
- Experience in analyzing malicious URLs and phishing emails
- Familiarity with Python automation preferred
- Experience in customer-facing environments and triaging complex customer queries
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with databases (SQL or MQL) is preferable
- Passion for cybersecurity and solving complex problems
- Genuine interest in mitigating phishing attacks and understanding recent vulnerabilities
