Primary Skills: Network Operations (Expert), Cloud Platforms (Expert), Automation (Expert), Linux (Intermediate), CI/CD Tools (Proficient) Contract Type: W2 Only Duration: 6+ Months with possible extension Location: Remote Pay Range: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour Note:
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder required for Federal environment.
- Candidate should open to work Thu - Mon (Including weekends) Not necessarily, but highly required.
Job Summary: Our client is seeking a Cloud Network Operations Engineer to support their global cloud network infrastructure. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing network services across private and multi-cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on automation and reliability. The ideal candidate will contribute to a 24/7 on-call rotation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain global cloud network infrastructure including routing, switching, VPNs, and ADCs.
- Support network operations in hybrid multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Troubleshoot and resolve urgent network incidents.
- Utilize automation tools like Ansible for infrastructure management.
- Monitor network performance metrics and proactively escalate issues.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience supporting network operations in a cloud environment.
- Familiarity with Linux command-line interface and basic troubleshooting.
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Industry Experience:
- Domain Experience: Cloud Networking, Network Operations, Hybrid Cloud Environments.
- Industry Experience: Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or large-scale cloud infrastructure.
