Job Description
Primary Skills: Site Reliability Engineering - Expert, Observability - Expert, Incident Response - Expert, SaaS Operations - Intermediate, Automation Tools - Intermediate Contract Type: W2 Only Duration: 11 Months Location: Lehi, UT (#LI-Hybrid) Pay Range: $50 - $55 per hour on W2 #LP Job Summary: Ensure the reliability, availability, and operational health of SaaS solutions through effective incident response, collaboration, and observability practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure reliability and operational health of SaaS solutions, both in-house and vendor-managed.
- Lead incident responses, including investigation, mitigation, and post-incident follow-up.
- Maintain observability for non-owned systems by obtaining actionable metrics and logs.
- Drive targeted improvements to reducing customer impact using operational data and incident learnings.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate response efforts and influence reliability.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong foundation in Site Reliability Engineering principles.
- Proven incident response experience with on-call participation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills under pressure.
Industry Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years in Site Reliability Engineering or production operations, including on-call responsibilities.
- Experience with observability data to diagnose issues and drive improvements.
