PySpark/Java Developer Opportunity in Healthcare Analytics |Location: Blue Bell, PA – Remote Hey there—imagine diving into cutting-edge healthcare analytics at Cotiviti USA, a leader in the space. We''re looking for a PySpark/Java Developer like you to build robust software modules that power our product suite. You''ll team up to craft and tweak ETL scripts, tools, queries, and apps that handle everything from healthcare data management and validation to statistical reports and program checks. Expect to break down requirements into smart designs, run unit/integration tests, fix issues for our internal and customer teams, and keep things top-notch with best practices—while geeking out on the latest tech. What You''ll Do Day-to-Day:
- Design and optimize ETL pipelines, database apps, and big data workflows.
- Tackle performance hiccups in massive SQL datasets using smart indexing.
- Work hands-on with the full Hadoop stack to process and move data seamlessly.
- Handle huge volumes of structured/unstructured data via Spark, with a clear view of the end-to-end app lifecycle.
- Bonus: Bring your healthcare claims data know-how to the table.
What We''re Looking For:
- 5+ years crafting data extraction apps in Microsoft SQL Server and relational DBs.
- Solid ETL, database, big data, and processing skills.
- 2+ years building with Hadoop, Spark, Impala, Hive, Python.
- 2+ years hands-on with Cloudera Hadoop Ecosystem (Hadoop FS, Hive, Impala, Spark, Kafka, Hue, Oozie, Yarn, Sqoop)—running, tweaking, troubleshooting.
- Experience transforming/moving data at scale with Spark.
- Healthcare claims data experience? That''s a huge plus.
- Strong PySpark and Java chops.
