Junior Front End Developer Summer Internship (North Dakota)

Location: Remote or Hybrid (North Dakota–based preferred) Duration: 12-week internship Hours: ~30 hours per week Reports to: CTO & Co-Founder Role Description MyCareLinq is seeking a Front-End Developer or AI Prompt Engineering Intern to support the development and refinement of customer-facing online experiences. The intern will work closely with the CTO and co-founder and will be deployed on clearly scoped, high-impact projects that directly support go-to-market and customer onboarding initiatives. This is an execution-oriented role suited for a student who wants exposure to real startup engineering workflows, product decision-making, and production deployment. Qualifications ● Current undergraduate or graduate student at the University of North Dakota (UND) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field ● Basic knowledge of Python and JavaScript ● Experience with using LLMs ● Ability to work independently on scoped tasks while collaborating closely with technical leadership ● Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a fast-moving startup environment Preferred Qualifications ● Experience with React-based applications and modern front-end tooling ● Exposure to design systems, Figma, or UI/UX collaboration ● Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating front-end components with backend services ● Interest in healthcare, digital health, or AI-enabled products ● Prior internship, project, or open-source experience
