Bilingual Warmline Operator – Part Time Swing Shift
Job Description:
- Provide confidential, non-judgmental and non-critical support to callers
- Take calls from callers around the state and provide phone support
- Participate in ongoing training and team-building
- Keep track of all data logs; enter data and present data in a professional manner
- Write reports as necessary to the Warmline Shift Leader or assigned Warmline Supervisor
Requirements:
- Identify as a person with lived experience of having big feelings
- Certificate for completion of the Core Training in Intentional Peer Support (IPS)
- Must become registered with the Oregon Health Authority Traditional Health Worker registry as a Peer Support Specialist during the first 6 months
- Working understanding of what the Warmline is and is not
- Minimal supervision
- Strong communication and team skills
- Fundamental awareness of cross-cultural issues, dual diagnosis/addictions, and effects of PTSD/trauma
- Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537
- Pre-hire drug screening required
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats
