Full Stack Developer - 100% Remote Primary Location : Remote V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for an Full Stack Developer - 100% Remote for our premier client in Remote. Education and Experience "
- 6-10 years Full Stack experience (backend-heavy)
- Experience supporting both new build and existing footprint
- Experience with Postgres or relational databases
- Experience with IoT or high-volume data pipelines (detector systems, sensors)
- Experience with open-source tools and cloud-agnostic approaches
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities "
- Deep expertise in Java (all versions) + Spring Boot ecosystem
- Strong event-driven architecture experience; Kafka expertise required
- Hands-on experience modernizing legacy microservices and distributed systems
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred; Azure acceptable; cloud-agnostic mindset)
- Experience with Python for backend/data workflows
- DevSecOps mindset; automated testing; CI/CD; secure coding
- Ability to mentor junior developers and provide leadership
- Experience delivering in fast-paced automated environments
- Ability to lead full-stack projects (design ? deployment) .
Must have:
- Leadership traits: Insist on high standards, simplify rather than over-engineer, and who build trust across teams
- Business aware: Ability to connect technical decisions to business outcomes
- Preferred: Former Big Tech
- Coding proficiency: Knowledgeable about data structures/algorithms and writing clean/maintainable code. Tech Stack must include Java (17+ preferred).
- System design depth: Experience designing new systems from scratch and evolving existing ones under real-world constraints.
- Engineering Excellence traits: Observability, continuous delivery, quality focus, AI-augmented coding..
Nice to Have
Skills/ Requirements, in order of Priority:
- React or Angular for secondary frontend support
- AI/GenAI experience (OpenAI integration, Copilot usage)
- Experience with Spark, Elasticsearch, or similar distributed data tools
- Experience with rules engines and high-volume sensor/IoT data processing
- Experience in enterprise modernization frameworks
