Job Summary

arenaflex is seeking an experienced Sr Director, Customer and Marketing Data, Applied AI, and Analytics to lead the development of our data product portfolio and AI product-technology team. As a visionary leader, you will be responsible for setting the overall strategic vision for our customer and marketing data product portfolio, driving results-oriented culture, and inspiring a high-energy team to deliver exceptional outcomes. This is a full remote opportunity, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sr Director, Customer and Marketing Data, Applied AI, and Analytics, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing the long-term vision of a data product portfolio or strategic capability that drives strategies, requirements, and roadmaps, understanding the competitive landscape and influencing enterprise decisions.
  • Owning and leading the customer, loyalty, and marketing data ecosystem, serving the customer and marketing organization with actionable analytics to support delivering top-line sales and productivity improvements.
  • Developing a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging two-way door initiatives that address customer needs.
  • Owning annual planning for the product portfolio and representing the team in discussions with executives.
  • Owning the user experience (UX) and setting the direction for the UX design of products within the product portfolio or strategic capability.
  • Defining processes and measurements for the team to effectively track development work and triage bugs of products in the product portfolio.
  • Partnering with relevant stakeholders and leading the development of launch and go-to-market plans of products within the product portfolio or strategic capability.
  • Identifying issues and blockers that may delay the launch or impede the success of products in the product portfolio or strategic capability, communicating to leadership, assessing alternatives to resolve, and taking action to resolve.
  • Ensuring customer and business goals remain aligned with identified customer needs, setting the strategy for customer engagement, and leading its execution.
  • Engaging with internal and external thought leaders to drive product leadership within the portfolio.
  • Leading and owning operational product strategy of the portfolio or strategic capability and ensuring alignment with other portfolio owners.
  • Facilitating an understanding among the team of broader organizational goals and the role each team plays, auditing team goals, and being accountable for product portfolio performance against broader organizational goals.
  • Leading a team in support of achieving the company's mission, managing performance, and fostering an inclusive environment to help associates achieve their potential.
  • Leveraging data and analytics to provide competitive analysis, drive decision making, assess the health and effectiveness of assigned products and related P&L impacts, and deliver recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Developing and presenting communications, frequently to senior leadership, communicating the desired message, at the appropriate level, for the right recipient.
  • Monitoring technology trends and anticipating their impact on the product roadmap, leveraging this understanding to drive innovation.
  • Collaborating with the broader product and technology management community to understand dependencies and create a community of practice.

Required Qualifications

* 12 years of experience in software engineering, data science, and/or product management

  • 7 years of direct team leadership experience across software engineering, product management, or data science
  • Prior experience in marketing, customer, and retail media networks analytics, building, deploying, and operationalizing highly scalable, resilient, and critical data technology solutions solving business problems in a product model
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with software development teams to launch online products

  • Experience with large-scale order management and inventory systems
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems
  • Master's degree in business administration or similar advanced degree

Compensation and Benefits

arenaflex offers a highly competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $179,000.00 - $340,100.00 annually, depending on factors such as position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. arenaflex also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
