Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Bookkeeping team on a full-time, remote basis. As a Senior GL Bookkeeper, you will work closely with our team to drive process improvements and ensure accurate financial reporting. You will be responsible for planning and preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations, as well as ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

* Plan and prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for assigned areas of the general ledger

• Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for arenaflex and external entities for assigned functional areas
• Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
• Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
• Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters
• Perform special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Sharp business acumen and process-oriented
• Data-focused and unafraid to go down to the lowest level of detail for truth and high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication, oral, and written skills, including strong proficiency in English
• Strong analytical and time management skills
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/ internal controls
• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
• Four-year degree in Accounting, CPA certification an asset
• Strong spreadsheet skills, with the ability to manage and process large amounts of data
