Experienced Full Stack IT Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud and Data Center Operations

As a key member of the Data Innovation Group within the Data Innovation Division at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects that will challenge your skills and ignite your passion for innovation. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT infrastructure solutions that meet the evolving needs of arenaflex's global operations.
What You'll Do
* Develop a deep understanding of concepts related to server load balancing, WAS clustering, and other application scaling techniques
- Investigate and resolve middleware issues across development, testing, and production environments
- Proactively monitor local and remote data center operations and hardware, including UPSs, air conditioning, power, office security systems, and all datacenter cycles and processes
- Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing among team members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IT infrastructure best practices and emerging technologies to maintain expertise and suggest improvements or changes
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to clients on infrastructure issues, support, and system status, and escalating or escalating significant issues
- Manage and maintain Windows Dynamic Registry, including DNS and Group Policies
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members and assist with projects as needed
- Participate in a compulsory rotational schedule for after-hours support
What You'll Need for Success
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a systems or infrastructure engineer or manager
- Strong understanding of IT business activities, system requirements, and processes
- Proficiency in the following areas:
+ Server Administration: Linux (RHEL/CentOS 7/8 and Windows (2012/2016) + Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Python, Bash, and PowerShell + Cloud Innovations: Design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications (Microsoft Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud) + DevOps: CI/CD, GitHub, Artifactory, or Jenkins + Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry + Server and Application Monitoring: Dynatrace, LogDNA, and SysDig
- Ability to analyze complex issues and develop solutions or workarounds
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a strong desire to learn and grow in-depth knowledge
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and influence best practices
- Exhibited drive, adaptability, and ability to adjust to changing needs and work environments
- Capability in Coordinated project management techniques, specifically within infrastructure areas
