Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced customer service representative to join our team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. As a CSR, you'll be responsible for communicating with borrowers via phone, chat, and email, providing exceptional service, and resolving complex issues related to federal student loan programs. Essential Job Duties

As a customer service representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Responding to incoming borrower calls, chats, and emails in a friendly and professional manner
• Counseling and informing borrowers of their repayment options, deferments, and forbearance eligibility
• Taking loan payments and updating borrower accounts in an efficient manner
• Locating needed information and minimizing the time borrowers are put on hold
• Maintaining the security and privacy of borrowers to protect both the borrower and our partners
• Working an 8-hour shift with a one 1-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks
• Utilizing strong computer skills to navigate our systems and resolve issues

Qualifications/Additional Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college or a bachelor's degree preferred
• The ability to pass a pre-employment cognitive and personality assessment
• A Federal 5C Security Clearance and credit check
• To live in or near the Dallas-Fort Worth area
• Excellent organization, written, and verbal communication skills
• The ability to multitask (type while talking)
• Access to home internet with at least 10 mg capacity and a router for an ethernet cord
• A location in your home that is free of noise and distraction
