Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale data systems that support our business operations. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and scalability of our data infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence and analytics
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and develop data solutions that meet business needs
• Developing and maintaining data models, data dictionaries, and data governance policies to ensure data quality and consistency
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex data-related issues, including data integration, data quality, and data security
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering, and applying this knowledge to improve our data infrastructure and processes
• Mentoring and guiding junior data engineers to develop their skills and expertise

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on large-scale data systems and data pipelines
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and SQL
• Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools, including data modeling and data governance
• Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations, including GDPR and HIPAA
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data-related issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications
