Our Transportation Analytics crew is at the forefront of this effort, and we're seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our team.

Job Summary

As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for working with large, messy datasets to extract insights that inform business decisions. You'll develop ETLs, create data visualizations, and engage with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. Responsibilities

* Work with large, messy, disparate datasets to perform ad-hoc analyses and inform business decisions

• Create ETLs or strategies that pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table
• Develop data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges
• Engage with team members and cross-functional groups on a periodic basis to establish credibility and drive business outcomes
• Analyze stakeholder needs and collaborate with them to share relevant insights, including partnering with Operations, Finance, and Product groups on data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems
• Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks for reporting, such as screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition
• Document your methods and share your expertise with colleagues, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science

• Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to work with multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience)
• Creativity with a user experience basis to develop impactful Tableau dashboards (1-2 years of experience)
• Business operations fluency, with the ability to recognize and root out business problems, ideally with a supply chain background and transportation experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications

* Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau

• Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages
• Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
