Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Representative to join our team on a 3-month contract basis, with potential for extension up to 2 years. As a Data Entry Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data entry processes, while meeting production and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

* Enter claims in compliance with established procedures and meet production and quality standards

  • Identify and resolve eligibility edits, and refer all other edits to Claims Examiners
  • Work with multiple monitors and navigate various software systems, including Windows platform and AS400 (MS DOS) system
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to manage data and communicate with team members
  • Collaborate with providers to resolve data discrepancies and ensure accurate data entry
  • Meet daily metrics and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in the insurance and financial products industry

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience working with Windows platform and AS400 (MS DOS) system
  • Ability to work with multiple monitors and navigate various software systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with provider data demographics and insurance products

  • Familiarity with claims processing and eligibility edits
  • Experience in a production work environment with daily metrics and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and systems
