Job Summary

As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity and safety of our online community by enforcing our community guidelines, resolving conflicts, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a part-time, remote position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions adhere to our community guidelines and rules.

• Delete messages that violate our community guidelines, including but not limited to:

+ Hate speech or discriminatory language + Harassment or bullying + Spam or self-promotion + Inappropriate content or links

• Ban users who repeatedly violate our community guidelines, after thorough investigation and warning.
• Mute users who have violated our community guidelines, to prevent further disruption.
• Investigate reports made by users about potential rule violations, and take necessary actions to resolve the issue.
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community engagement strategies that promote a positive and inclusive online environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service to users, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

* Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively resolve conflicts and provide customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

* Experience in community management, moderation, or customer service.

• Knowledge of online safety and security best practices.
• Familiarity with arenaflex's values and mission.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
