Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls, delivering exceptional customer service experiences consistently
  • Managing customer accounts and providing technical support
  • Entering application data and responding to online chat inquiries as assigned
  • Interpreting and following defined procedures and policies
  • Utilizing creative problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing projects and updates
  • Managing time and tasks effectively, prioritizing multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines
  • Participating in extensive self-study, training, and testing, with eligibility to proceed through training and certifications dependent upon passing required exams
  • Adhering to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • A minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s
  • A dedicated, private, and secure workspace
  • A personal laptop or desktop computer required for the Training Period
  • Commitment to full attendance during the 3-week Training period
  • Completion of a background check and health screening
  • Cable/Fiber Broadband Internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection (not Wi-Fi internet access or Wi-Fi adapter/extenders)
  • NOT compatible with Mobile Internet Service Providers and Satellite

Qualifications

We're looking for individuals with:

  • Moderate to advanced computer skills
  • A high level of comfort learning new technology
  • High levels of professionalism, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Comfort working from home
  • Self-motivation and a success-driven attitude

Preferred Experience

While not required, previous experience in customer support or technical support roles, as well as experience with Group and/or Individual health insurance, the Affordable Care Act, or Call Center environments, is a plus. Familiarity with CRM systems and practices is also desirable.
