Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Caremark Member Operations division, where you'll play a vital role in delivering heart-driven service to our millions of plan members. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for our members, providing exceptional support and guidance on their pharmacy benefit plans. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to our members via phone, email, and chat
  • Answering questions and resolving issues related to prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions
  • Assisting members with their pharmacy benefit plans, including explaining coverage options and helping them navigate the healthcare system
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide seamless support to our members
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on our products and services
  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics, including call handling time, first call resolution, and customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of experience interacting with customers in a call center, retail, customer service environment, hospitality industry, or military experience
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Strong customer service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette and professionalism
  • Ability to problem solve in a positive, productive manner
  • Comfortable relating to customers in a patient, helpful way that demonstrates a genuine concern for improving the customer quality of life

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 6 months of healthcare experience
  • Ability to exhibit patience and empathy and express assurance and confidence
  • Strong oral, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Reliability and compliance with scheduling standards
