  • Transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using your keyboard and computer skills
  • Typing in data provided directly from customers with precision and attention to detail
  • Filling in spreadsheets with potentially large numbers of figures without mistakes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Verifying data by comparing it to source documents to maintain data integrity
  • Updating existing data to reflect changes and ensure consistency
  • Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested by our team members
  • Sorting and organizing paperwork after entering data to ensure it's not lost or misplaced

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk (although not required, it's highly preferred)
  • Fast typing skills with the ability to maintain accuracy and speed
  • A level of comfort with word processing tools and spreadsheets, including MS Office Word and Excel
