Job Responsibilities:
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients and patients, ensuring a positive and personalized experience
- Registering transactions on assigned sales register, collecting cash, and dispensing change as needed
- Processing voids, returns, delays, discounts, and trades as required
- Maintaining accurate records, including patient and medication data, and processing prescriptions
- Assisting pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work processes
- Reporting remedy mistakes to pharmacists and adhering to organization policies and procedures
- Handling calls that do not require individual attention from pharmacists, including those to doctors
- Processing manual cases for external program remedy services in a timely and efficient manner
- Performing other administrative tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Director
- Maintaining knowledge of organization resource security methods and recording claims for distribution center overages, deficiencies, request errors, or damaged products
- Ensuring compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled items (e.g., cocktails and tobacco products)
- Building and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, and special designs
- Assisting with division of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as determined by strategies/methods
- Providing customer support in the photo area, including digital identification photo service, banner print, and creative machine
- Taking on web pick-up responsibilities (screens orders in Picture Care, handles requests, and conveys requests to clients as they arrive at the store)
- Assisting with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and well-organized store environment and appearance
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Proficiency in data entry and computer skills
- Knowledge of store systems and store equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekend shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a retail environment
- Previous work experience with arenaflex
- Strong numerical skills for accurate prescription filling, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
- Familiarity with store stock control
- PTCB certification
