Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through:

  • Managing a high volume of inbound calls, averaging between 70-120 calls daily, with a focus on resolving customer inquiries and issues efficiently.
  • Maintaining effective communication with policyholders, providers, and third parties to ensure seamless interactions and resolve complex issues.
  • Staying informed about new and updated procedures regarding policy information to provide accurate and up-to-date support.
  • Meeting established department standards for call volume, average call handling time, and effective time management to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.

Required Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office to navigate our systems and tools.
  • Strong typing skills, with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute to efficiently process customer information.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and manage multiple calls simultaneously.
  • Ability to multitask and perform efficiently under pressure to meet customer needs and expectations.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume call center or similar role where daily phone interaction is essential.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preference for individuals with remote work experience, although not mandatory.
  • A reliable internet connection with at least 20 Mbps upload and download speed (hard-wired connection is necessary).
  • Possession of a smartphone to access the VPN.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is advantageous but not required.
  • A quiet and professional home office environment is required.

Training and Onboarding

* A full-time training program lasting 2-3 weeks will be conducted (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST).

  • Availability for training during the weekdays between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM CST is required.
  • Following training, you'll work 40 hours per week on a Monday-Friday schedule, with no weekend shifts unless overtime is available.

Equipment and Tools

* A smartphone is required for VPN access, with all other necessary equipment provided by the company.
