Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Live Chat Customer Service Advisor, you'll be responsible for:

  • Resolving end-user inquiries through live chat and web-based interactions, utilizing multiple technologies to provide complete and accurate information to customers
  • Handling and resolving situations with customers in a timely and effective manner, escalating issues as needed
  • Assisting management with special projects related to customer service, such as process improvements and quality assurance initiatives
  • Responding to all inbound chats and assisting management for the entire shift, with the exception of assigned break times
  • Handling multiple job tasks simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely and effective issue resolution
  • Maintaining a quiet, distraction-free work environment without conflicting responsibilities during scheduled shifts

Requirements

To succeed as an Experienced Live Chat Customer Service Advisor, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 3 months of live chat experience, with a proven track record of resolving complex issues and providing exceptional support
  • The ability to pass a typing speed test and type 50 WPM, with strong keyboarding skills and accuracy
  • At least 1 year of professional customer service experience, preferably in a large Call Center environment as a chat agent
  • The ability to sit and work at a desk and on the computer for extended periods of time, with minimal breaks
  • The ability to maintain a quiet, distraction-free work environment without conflicting responsibilities during scheduled shifts
  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English (equivalent to CEF B2 level or above)
  • A High School diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and customer service
  • The ability to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on call center needs
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet, with basic data entry and word processing skills
  • Must reside within an approved state*
