About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our Data Science and Engineering group, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge data solutions that drive business growth and innovation. Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of our data infrastructure, designing and implementing data warehousing solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. You will work closely with our Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers to design, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data warehousing solutions using Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines in cloud and on-prem environments using tools such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers to design and develop data-driven solutions that meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain high-quality documentation of data solutions and changes to ensure data quality and governance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high operational efficiency and quality of data solutions to meet SLAs and support obligations to our clients.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum practices to ensure team health and cycle improvements.

Key Capabilities

• Strong SQL skills and ability to write queries to extract insights from data and build performant datasets.
• Experience with distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, and Scala.
• Experience with at least one major MPP or cloud database technology such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Strong experience with data integration toolsets and writing and maintaining data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data modeling strategies and data warehousing best practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
