Job Description
### Job Summary The People of arenaflex come together to deliver on our Purpose, which is to connect People to what's important in their lives through friendly, reliable, and low-cost air travel. As a Technology Supply Chain Management (SCM) Category Manager, you'll be a trusted advisor for managing a portfolio and categories of related Technology suppliers, particularly Technology for the Air Operations groups – including Flight Operations, Network Operations Control, and Inflight Operations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can support complex and high-value contracts, work with cross-functional Teams to ensure suppliers successfully meet business objectives, and help to maximize supplier value while mitigating our risk. ### Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Technology suppliers, including those related to Air Operations, to ensure alignment with business objectives and optimal value realization
- Lead strategic sourcing events, negotiations, and contract drafting to secure the best possible terms and conditions for arenaflex
- Collaborate with cross-functional Teams, including Air Operations, Procurement, and Finance, to ensure suppliers meet business objectives and resolve any issues that may arise
- Develop and implement category strategies to drive supplier value and mitigate risk, including the identification and evaluation of new suppliers and technologies
- Provide expert advice and guidance to more junior level colleagues on Technology SCM best practices and category management
- Analyze and report on supplier performance, spend, and category trends to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal customers to ensure effective communication and collaboration
### Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Technology Supply Chain Management, Category Management, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in managing complex contracts, negotiating with suppliers, and driving supplier value
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of Technology SCM best practices and category management principles
### Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Certification in Supply Chain Management, such as CSCP or CLTD
- Experience working in the airline industry or a related field
- Strong knowledge of contract law and negotiation principles
- Experience with supplier relationship management and category development
- Strong understanding of data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel and Tableau

- Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
