Job Summary

As a Customs Trade Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of customs documentation for international shipments. You'll work closely with our internal teams, clients, and government agencies to provide exceptional customer service and support. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams, clients, and government agencies

  • Accurately process customs documentation for international shipments, including data entry, Sop's, duty books, web, and customs documentation
  • Handle and process different import-related documentation for submission to US Customs and may deal with all PGA's (participating Government Agencies)
  • Maintain and update all shipment documentation in accordance with all record-keeping requirements
  • Comply with all international importing and exporting regulations
  • Collaborate with other internal staff, divisions, other arenaflex activities, and clients to deliver an elevated level of service to clients
  • Process organization financier shipments
  • May handle distant filings
  • Ensure all service and organizational strategies are followed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., international trade, logistics, business administration)

  • No industry experience required, but a minimum of 6 months of work experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in data entry and computer skills
  • Required skills:

+ MS Office + Viewpoint + Office equipment (telephone, fax, scanner, printer, scanner)

  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle high volumes of work and time-sensitive tasks

Preferred Qualifications

* HS Certificate or GED

  • Industry experience in logistics, transportation, or international trade
  • Proficiency in multiple software systems and reference materials
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, transporters, intermediaries, government agencies, and internal staff
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
