Member Company: Convelo Insurance Group RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluate new business submissions for appetite acceptability, proper pricing, and profitability. Negotiate new business quotes and renewals with producer partners leading to the binding of business Maintain underwriting files and prepare reports and presentations as required Act as a liaison between various departments including accounting, claims and loss control. Approve and issue endorsement requests per underwriting guidelines and service guidelines Work with other underwriters/departments to drive multi-line sales on individual accounts QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 5+ years of commercial package underwriting experience Experience with non-profits or human services Strong knowledge of insurance rating, forms and coverages Ability to make timely decisions with appropriate information and consultation Proven track record of building strong business relationships with agents and insureds Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills Ability to work both independently and within a team environment to drive results Signers is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer.
