Tax Preparer
Individual applicants residing in the US only About the role As a Tax Preparer, you are the critical "human-in-the-loop" who takes our AI-driven tax drafts across the finish line. While our automation engine starts the process, you are responsible for the technical completion of complex returns for individuals, multi-entity businesses, and partnerships. You will utilize advanced AI self-review tools to verify accuracy before passing files to our Tax AI Lead, ensuring a high-velocity, high-precision workflow What you will do Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, S-corps, C-Corps, Partnerships and Trusts Conduct tax research and planning to minimize tax liabilities and identify tax-saving opportunities for clients. Consult with clients on bookkeeping as needed. Utilize internal AI-powered diagnostic and review tools to perform a mandatory first-pass quality check before routing to the Tax AI Lead. Review financial records, income statements, and documentation to ensure accuracy. Calculate and generate estimated tax (ES) vouchers to ensure ongoing client compliance. Review and organize client documentation within our tech stack to ensure data integrity and reconcile any discrepancies in the source financials. Qualifications 2–4 years of experience preparing individual and business tax returns Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Familiarity with professional tax software (CCH Axcess ) Strong Excel skills and experience with QuickBooks Online CPA license or EA certification a plus but not required
