Remote Contract Attorney — USPTO Trademark Filings (Part-Time, Ongoing)

About Us

We are an intellectual property services company headquartered in China with our own law firm based in California, USA. Our practice focuses on U.S. trademark prosecution for international clients, handling a high volume of USPTO trademark applications, Office Action responses, and TTAB proceedings. Due to growing case volume, we are looking for one or more U.S.-licensed attorneys to join our team on a long-term, ongoing basis. The Role This is a review-and-submit role. Our experienced team of attorneys and specialists drafts and pre-reviews all documents before they reach you. Your responsibilities include:

• Reviewing trademark applications prepared by our team and submitting them via USPTO TEAS Reviewing and submitting non-substantive filings such as Statements of Use (SOU), Section 8 & 9 Declarations, and simple Office Action responses Reviewing and submitting substantive Office Action responses (e.g., descriptiveness, likelihood of confusion, lack of distinctiveness), all of which are drafted and pre-reviewed by our senior attorneys before reaching you Reviewing and submitting TTAB filings (oppositions, cancellations, answers, motions, discovery documents) as needed
• You will submit filings under your own bar credentials and are expected to exercise independent professional judgment during review. If you identify any errors or concerns, you should flag them to us before filing.
• What We Provide：All documents are fully drafted and reviewed before reaching you — no drafting from scratch required Full training on our workflow, systems, and quality standards Consistent and growing volume — we handle hundreds of trademark matters monthly across our team

Long-term, ongoing engagement — we are looking for partners, not one-off contractors.

Requirements

Compensation：You will be paid on a per-matter basis according to the volume and type of filings you submit. Each completed filing is compensated in the range of $20–$50, attorneys typically dedicate 15–20 hours per week and earn $4,000 or more per month. Specific rates and structure will be discussed in detail with selected candidates. • Active member in good standing of any U.S. state bar Authorized to independently file trademark submissions with the USPTO Reliable internet access and responsive communication (within 24 hours) Strong attention to detail Prior trademark experience is a plus but NOT required — we provide comprehensive training Willingness to execute a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement prior to commencing work.
• Solo practitioners seeking steady supplemental income, New attorneys looking to build practical IP experience, Semi-retired attorneys wanting flexible, part-time remote work .

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour Benefits:
