Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced full stack data scientist to join our Ads Data Solution Research team. As a lead data scientist, you will be responsible for designing, building, and enhancing machine learning models that drive business growth and success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales analytics, finance, business operations, commerce product, and engineering, to develop and deploy models that tackle complex challenges such as revenue forecasting, inventory management, and customer lifetime value estimation.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, build, and enhance machine learning models using a variety of techniques, including deep learning, natural language processing, and statistical modeling

• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and deploy models in production environments
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
• Develop and maintain complex data pipelines and architectures to support model development and deployment
• Partner with data engineers to design and implement data warehouses and data lakes
• Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate insights and results to stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning and data science and apply that knowledge to drive business growth and success

Essential Qualifications

* Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, operations research, econometrics, or statistics

• 7+ years of experience designing, building, and comparing realistic systems using machine learning and statistical techniques
• 7+ years of experience with statistical programming languages, such as Python, Spark, and PySpark, and database languages, such as SQL
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, including deep learning, natural language processing, and statistical modeling
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau and Looker
• Experience with data exploration and data visualization tools, such as Jupyter and Databricks
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice-to-Haves

* Doctorate's degree in a quantitative field

• Excellent analytical skills, with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Strong knowledge of Python and libraries, such as sci-kit-learn and SciPy
• Familiarity with Bayesian modeling and probabilistic programming applications, such as PyMC
• Familiarity with data structures and programs, such as Databricks, Jupyter, Snowflake, Airflow, and Github
• Demonstrated experience in choosing the right statistical tools given a data analysis problem
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical and non-technical insights to stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and in a timely manner, including large and complex ones
• Demonstrated management experience, including people and project management
