About the Role:
As an Experienced IT Operations Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading our AWS IT Services Support team to deliver highly-available IT support to arenaflex employees worldwide. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing local and/or remote resources to drive strategic initiatives and develop knowledge bases that expedite the resolution of recurrent issues.
- Identifying ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement.
- Setting high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization.
- Guiding the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge bases.
- Providing technical guidance and support to team members.
Essential Qualifications:
* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations.
- 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager.
- Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience.
- Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with IT service management frameworks and tools.
- Strong understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles.
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and services.
