Responsibilities

As a Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

• Handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about our dealer clients' products and services
• Narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments and capture customer contact information for lead generation and client review
• Summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review
• Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of the evolving products and services offered by our dealer clients
• Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive online experience for our clients' customers

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry (although not necessary, it's a plus)
• Basic internet and window-based computer skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to change
• A positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above being preferred
• A quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions, with your own computer or laptop, webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we're looking for candidates with:

• Gaming experience, which can help you develop the multitasking and quick thinking skills needed for this role
• A strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Requirements

To apply for this role, you'll need to:

• Live within the state of Texas
• Have a reliable computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse
• Be able to attend 4 weeks of remote training, Tuesday-Saturday, between the hours of 11am-7:30pm EDT
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
