Experienced Bilingual (Spanish) Customer Service Representative – Remote Healthcare Support

Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Bilingual (Spanish) Customer Service Representative to join our remote team at arenaflex. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients and members, answering phone calls in a timely manner, and resolving issues with professionalism and empathy. Key Responsibilities:
* Answer phone calls in a timely manner, providing accurate and timely handling of client and member calls with total follow-through
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to client and provider questions, including claims payment, status, and coverage information
- Interpret client health plan protocol, ensuring accurate and complete call documentation
- Backup to the claims processing area, assisting with reports and workflow queues as assigned
- Check tracer documentation, maintaining high-level professionalism and returning incoming calls
- Perform other duties as assigned, including additional projects and assistance with mailing projects as needed
Qualifications:
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) required, with a strong proficiency in both languages
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume healthcare call center, with a strong background in healthcare claims review or processing
- Knowledge of healthcare claims review or processing, with experience in Health Care/Health insurance a plus
- Familiarity with BCBS HMOI or other insurance plans a plus
- Experience with multiple systems, including Teams, Excel, and Jira a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
- Availability for an 8-hour shift between 8am and 6pm Central time
Preferred Qualifications:
* HMO Managed care Medicare Advantage experience a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Experience working in a remote environment, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits:
* Competitive hourly rate, paid bi-weekly, with a base pay range of $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
