Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor to join our remote team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests, ensuring timely and efficient turnaround times. Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers
  • Entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times
  • Navigating efficiently and effectively through the imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry
  • Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines
  • Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times
  • Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements
  • Performing quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines
  • Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed
  • Alerting management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies
  • Providing recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate

Requirements

To be a successful Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor with arenaflex, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role
  • Strong data entry/typing skills (8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate required)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a remote team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working with imaging software and data entry systems
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry and insurance claims processing
  • Certification in data entry or medical billing
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
