Experienced Data Entry Coordinator – Remote Pharmacy Operations Support

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Coordinator to join our remote team at arenaflex. As a key member of our pharmacy operations support team, you'll be responsible for reviewing and organizing Prescriber Evaluation Referral Forms (PERF), gathering and analyzing data, and coordinating mailings to prescribers and patients. You'll also generate ad hoc reports, assist in displays to the Integrity and Patient Safety teams, and support the Good Faith Dispensing coverage administration. Key Responsibilities:

* Researches and analyzes managed substance orders placed manually at the store level to determine if they're suspicious based on ordering patterns and circumstances, and takes appropriate actions to educate the individual on proper ordering practices.

  • Generates reports and provides data to DEA dealers on dispensing styles, prescriber or patient profiles within a 48-hour window, and builds ad hoc queries to extract data outside of regular reporting requirements.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge about issues such as managed substance ordering practices, GFD policies, and DEA licensing requirements, and assists stores and field supervision with questions via email and phone on various related topics.
  • Assists analysts in developing and reviewing store audits for managed substance losses, collaborates with Pharmacy Managers and Supervisors to ensure losses are reported within the required time frame and with 100% accuracy.
  • Manages prescriber pricing decision system, validates and updates prescriber data, and collaborates with Pharmacists to ensure any prescription blocking is legitimate.
  • Researches and analyzes requests for increases to managed substance allocations, makes informed decisions based on collaboration with Pharmacy Managers, Supervisors, and object vendors, and mitigates risk to the organization by ensuring due diligence is completed and documented.
  • Assists in the implementation and updating of the Good Faith Dispensing and Target Drug Good Faith Dispensing policies.
  • Utilizes skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and database querying to assist analysts in developing displays and education for store staff and supervision.

Essential Qualifications:

* High School Diploma/GED and at least three years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

  • Required certification in Certified Pharmacy Technician as granted by PTCB.
  • Experience with prescriber licensing requirements (NPI, DEA, and state licenses).
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with database querying.
  • Experience with reading and reporting data to identify problems, trends, or exceptions to drive outcomes and find solutions.
  • Experience communicating effectively (written and verbal) as suitable for the needs of the audience.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with internal arenaflex systems, including SIMS and IC.

  • Experience with managed substance ordering practices within arenaflex (PDQ's, RxQuick Order, and Passport).
