We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our Telehealth Support team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for handling telehealth-based phone calls and email inquiries from customers, providing exceptional customer service, and delivering solutions to complex healthcare-related issues. About the Role:

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be part of a supportive team that's dedicated to creating positive experiences for our customers and clients. You'll handle a steady volume of incoming calls from customers, navigating multiple systems to provide accurate and timely solutions to their healthcare-related inquiries. Your excellent customer service and communication skills will help us create a positive and memorable experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

* Handle telehealth-based phone calls and email inquiries from customers, providing exceptional customer service and delivering solutions to complex healthcare-related issues

  • Manage a steady volume of incoming calls from customers, navigating multiple systems to provide accurate and timely solutions to their healthcare-related inquiries
  • Provide education and support to customers on various healthcare-related topics, including insurance verifications, benefits, billing, and prescription issues
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues, escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including call logs and email correspondence
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare-related field; experience in a call center environment a plus
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple calls and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong typing skills, with the ability to type 40 words per minute with 96% accuracy
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • High-speed internet and a distraction-free work environment required
  • Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality of customer information

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a telehealth or healthcare-related field

  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus
  • Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) or other healthcare-related software
