Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our digital databases. You'll be responsible for entering and modifying data, transferring information from paper documents to digital spreadsheets, and verifying the accuracy of your entries. This is a temporary, contract position of 40 hours per week, lasting 6 months, with the possibility of a full-time role upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining Confidentiality: You'll be entrusted with sensitive information, and it's essential that you maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Entering Customer and Account Data: You'll input text and numerical information from source documents into our digital databases, meeting specified deadlines and ensuring accuracy.
  • Compiling, Verifying, and Organizing Information: You'll review and verify data for errors or deficiencies, correcting incompatibilities when possible, and checking the final output.
  • Researching and Gathering Additional Information: You'll research and gather additional information for incomplete documents, ensuring that all necessary data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Applying Data Program Techniques and Procedures: You'll apply data program techniques and procedures to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our digital databases.
  • Generating Reports and Storing Completed Work: You'll generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to ensure the integrity of our data.

Qualifications

To be successful as a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as a minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong Understanding of Data Entry Principles and Practices: You'll need a solid understanding of data entry principles and practices, including data program techniques and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Touch Typing and Database Management Tools: You'll need to be proficient in touch typing and database management tools, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills: You'll need to be able to analyze data, identify errors or deficiencies, and apply problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Abilities: You'll need to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to Work Independently and Collaboratively: You'll need to be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with colleagues, to achieve team goals.
  • Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills: You'll need to be able to prioritize tasks, manage your time effectively, and meet deadlines.
