As a Student Success Coach at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome challenges, develop essential skills, and reach their full potential.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Student Success Coach to join our remote customer service team. As a Student Success Coach, you will work with students throughout their education program, providing guidance, support, and encouragement to help them achieve academic excellence. You will be responsible for managing a group of assigned students, coaching them through their degree program, and providing a trusted environment where students can share their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests.

Key Responsibilities

* Support enrollment, student development, and retention services while ensuring a quality learning experience.

  • Manage a group of assigned students and coach each through their degree program, through proactive and timely outreach.
  • Encourage and support students through daily and weekly outreach as they work to develop skills and knowledge for academic success.
  • Provide a trusted environment where students can share their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests.
  • Offer and teach students how to use resources to help maximize the success of each student.
  • Become a certified resume reviewer to provide resume and career development support.
  • Be a liaison for students, enabling them to connect with various departments.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent)

  • Two or more years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources, and/or counseling essential
  • Knowledge of academic policies and procedures
  • Ability to learn technical skills quickly
  • Excellent communication/listening skills, including a pleasant phone manner
  • Strong customer support focus and attention to details

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a higher education setting

  • Familiarity with academic advising and student success strategies
  • Certification in resume writing or career development
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

* Salary range between $23 and $24 per hour
