Job Summary

As an Experienced Engineering Manager – Cloud Application Development & Technical Leadership at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of engineers and making key decisions that impact our cross-functional partners. Your role will remain technically hands-on, involving close work with code, technical details, and data. You'll contribute to architectural planning, code reviews, and risk assessments, and collaborate with various teams across software, services, and AI/ML. You'll also engage with external customers and help define requirements and objectives for cross-functional software projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead a team of engineers and make key decisions that impact cross-functional partners

• Remain technically hands-on, involving close work with code, technical details, and data
• Contribute to architectural planning, code reviews, and risk assessments
• Collaborate with various teams across software, services, and AI/ML
• Engage with external customers and help define requirements and objectives for cross-functional software projects
• Create a multi-year roadmap and lead the design and execution phases of software development
• Oversee the work of some of the brightest engineers in the industry

Minimum Qualifications

* Strong understanding of operating systems fundamentals and mobile device support constraints

• Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional projects, managing partnerships while staying hands-on technically
• Clear decision-making based on data rather than intuition
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, global team, fostering collaboration, and supporting your engineers

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of engineering management experience

• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent
• Experience with API development and working with API consumers
