Key Responsibilities

As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Navigating multiple chat channels simultaneously, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Following established communication scripts to ensure consistency and accuracy in handling various topics
  • Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions and/or alternatives
  • Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide support
  • Performing data entry and customer service tasks with precision and attention to detail
  • Navigating online platforms efficiently to access and manage work requests and records
  • Identifying customers' needs, researching, and verifying credentials to ensure seamless connections between facilities and professionals
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to switch between tasks without loss of efficiency or composure
  • Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, with a strong commitment to being available and responsive to customers
  • Providing positive and professional interactions with customers, exceeding expectations and building trust

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of customer service or customer support experience, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional service
  • 1 year of previous call center or office background experience, with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Technical savvy, with a strong understanding of online platforms and software applications
  • Previous remote work from home experience, with a reliable and dedicated internet connection and a secure, established work area
  • Quick learning and adaptability, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, with active listening and problem-solving abilities
  • A background check that meets state and federal laws, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of healthcare industry protocols and procedures
  • Strong typing skills, with the ability to type 35 words per minute accurately
  • Experience with data entry and customer service software applications
  • A strong understanding of online platforms and software applications, with the ability to navigate and troubleshoot technical issues

You'll have access to a range of benefits and perks, including:

  • Starting pay of $14/hour, with shift differential and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance
  • Paid training, with a comprehensive onboarding program that includes 3 weeks of training from 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
  • Full-time status, with 40 hours of work per week
  • Flexible scheduling, with shifts between 7:00am-7:00pm, Monday-Friday, and rotating weekends

Equipment and Software Requirements

To ensure seamless connectivity and efficient communication, you'll need:

  • A reliable and dedicated internet connection, with a secure and established work area
  • A laptop or desktop computer with a processor of Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater, 8GB of memory, and a screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher
  • Dual monitors, with a USB headset and up-to-date antivirus software
  • A recent scan completed, with a firewall enabled and a BYOD policy in place
