Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Senior Manager Product Management - Customer Experience to join our team. As a key member of our product management organization, you'll be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Your expertise in product management, customer experience, and leadership will be instrumental in driving business growth, improving customer satisfaction, and shaping the future of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager Product Management - Customer Experience, you'll be responsible for the following key areas: ### Strategy & Planning (40%)

  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges that impact our products and services.
  • Product Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with our business strategy and customer needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business partners, to ensure alignment and effective delivery of products.
  • Financial Planning: Understand the financial and business impact of proposed product updates and activities, and prioritize updates to support our enterprise roadmap.
  • Performance Metrics: Identify goals, metrics, and analytics to measure the performance of our products and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to and make recommendations for strategic plans that align with our key objectives.

### Delivery & Execution (30%)

  • Product Development: Drive product development by reviewing performance and directing work efforts of product teams to ensure products meet company, stakeholder, and end-user priorities.
  • Quality Assurance: Document, review, and validate products to meet quality and change control standards.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve issues within or across product teams that may impair teams from delivering a quality product.
  • Prioritization: Receive and prioritize incoming requests from business partners and stakeholders balanced against business strategy, product vision, and user needs.
  • Design Guidance: Provide guidance on product design while balancing dependencies and integration with other products across the enterprise.
  • Product Metrics: Review and analyze product metrics to inform strategic and tactical product decisions.

### People (30%)

  • Leadership: Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to Product Managers to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Talent Attraction: Attract, retain, and develop top talent to build a world-class Product Management Team.
  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration with team members (Engineering, UX, etc.) to drive value, identify, and resolve impediments.
  • User Advocacy: Advocate for the end-user and stakeholder by associating with the product, empathizing with, and understanding user needs.
  • Team Management: Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholder expectations to execute product strategy.
  • Learning and Development: Participate in and contribute to learning activities around modern software design and development core practices.

Requirements

### Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

### Preferred Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience in product management, customer experience, or a related field.
  • Mastery of working as a Product Manager in a modern software development-based enterprise environment and overseeing multiple products.
  • Mastery of modern software development product management practices and agile methodologies, specifically the extreme programming (XP) principles of paired programming, test-driven development, and continuous deployment.
  • Proficiency in communicating with and influencing functional and technical team members at all levels in the organization.
  • Mastery of working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional, modern software design and development team.

  • Bachelor's degree in a field of study related to the job.
