Responsibilities
As an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our digital databases. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Data Entry and Management: Inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, updating order statuses for customers, and double-checking your work to ensure accuracy.
- Data Verification and Correction: Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities if possible, and checking the output to ensure data integrity.
- Research and Data Retrieval: Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents, applying data program techniques and procedures to ensure data accuracy.
- Report Generation and Storage: Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations to ensure data security.
- Document Scanning and Printing: Scanning documents and printing files, when needed, to support data entry and management processes.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills, including touch typing and database management tools.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to think analytically and make informed decisions to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision in data entry and management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
