HR Advisor
HR Advisor Location: Grantham
The Role
We're looking for a proactive and credible HR Advisor to support the HR Business Partner in delivering a high-quality generalist HR service. You'll play a key role in day-to-day HR operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives, people strategy, and employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and guidance to managers in line with policy, best practice, and employment law
- Manage employee relations cases including absence, conduct, capability, and grievance
- Support absence management plans and delivery of people KPI's
- Maintain accurate HR systems and records, ensuring GDPR compliance
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities
- Coordinate Occupational Health referrals and advise on outcomes
- Support training compliance, engagement initiatives, and wellbeing activities
- Assist with audits, ethical compliance, and Health & Safety initiatives
- Champion company values, diversity, and employee engagement
About You
- Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
- Confident advising managers at all levels
- Hands-on experience with HR systems
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- CIPD qualified or working towards (desirable)
- Experience in manufacturing or food industry (desirable)
