Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Alternate Investments (Remote Opportunity)

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team, working closely with our Retail and Institutional Service Teams to deliver top-notch results.

Job Summary
As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for processing trade deal purchases, reconciling transactions, and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents. You'll also be involved in processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions, and processing/reconciling returns activity. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in resolving complex issues and ensuring the accuracy of client transactions.
Key Responsibilities
* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents
- Process Corporate Activity Activities, settle/reconcile transactions, and process/reconcile returns activity
- Analyze complex/escalated issues and perform testing/validation of new innovation enhancements and provider modifications
- Complete projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
- Engage with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
- Collaborate with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite agencies, and other external business partners to ensure seamless transactions
Duties and Analysis
* Review subscription deals or transfer requests
- Identify and address Client/Advisor amount exceptions
- Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Reconcile Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
- Facilitate reconciliation across BOS and Fund Companies
- Review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of income tax coding
- Troubleshoot internal/external system improvements or concerns
- Identify root cause of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
- Provide method or innovation service alternatives to Management
- Remediate transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm
- Provide follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
- Promptly and accurately finalize client investing and dividend demands
Essential Qualifications
* 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
- Experience with TD Ameritrade or a similar platform is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the financial industry or a related field
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and tax coding
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools
- Certification in data entry or a related field
