Key Responsibilities

As a Virtual Customer Service/Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Reaching out to individuals who have requested more information on the benefits we offer, and scheduling Zoom meetings to discuss their needs and preferences
  • Customizing new benefit plans and adjusting existing plans to fit the current needs of each client, ensuring that they receive the best possible solution for their family's well-being
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients, providing attentive customer service and administrative support as needed
  • Performing benefit reviews for existing clients, as well as helping with any necessary claims or adjustments
  • Responding to and resolving client questions and concerns regarding their benefits, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete
  • Collaborating with our team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and contributing to the development of new sales strategies and initiatives

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in a remote or virtual environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ambition, motivation, and a drive to succeed, with a willingness to learn and grow with our company
  • Ability to think creatively and outside the box, with a entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to teamwork
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using CRM software and other sales tools

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience working in the insurance or benefits industry, with knowledge of medical, dental, vision, and hearing insurance
  • Familiarity with Zoom or other video conferencing platforms, with experience using them for sales and customer service purposes
  • Certification in sales, customer service, or a related field, such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven ability to adapt to change and prioritize tasks effectively
