Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support our business through data analysis, investigation, and interpretation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing key insights and recommendations to drive business growth and success across various product and development areas. This is a part-time remote position, working 25 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of $25.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Analyzing and interpreting complex data sets: Using data visualization tools, SQL, and programming languages to extract insights and trends from large datasets.
- Developing and maintaining business intelligence reports: Creating clear and actionable reports that provide key insights and recommendations to drive business growth and success.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams: Working closely with product and development teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights to inform product development and strategy.
- Communicating complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders: Presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices: Continuously developing skills and knowledge to stay current with the latest data analysis and visualization tools and techniques.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field: Such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering.
- 3+ years of experience as a data analyst: With a strong background in data analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence.
- Advanced SQL, Python, or R skills: With experience working with complex data sets and developing high-level analysis and reporting.
- Experience with data visualization tools: Such as Matplotlib, Scene, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, and other popular tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills: With the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
- Master's degree in a quantitative field: Such as a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or a Master's in Data Science.
- Experience with marketing analytics: With a strong understanding of marketing channels and business metrics.
- Experience with data storytelling: With the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and compelling manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills: With the ability to identify and resolve complex data-related issues.
