Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack IT Operations Manager to join our AWS IT Services Support team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing local and/or remote resources, assisting the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience, and owning strategies to create that experience. You'll help the group develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues, identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement, and set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage local and/or remote resources to ensure seamless IT support for Amazon employees worldwide
- Assist the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience and own strategies to create that experience
- Help the group develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
- Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
- Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
- Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure arenaflex remains at the forefront of innovation
Essential Qualifications
* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations
- 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
- Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
- Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration
- Proven track record of managing remote teams and ensuring seamless IT support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with IT service management frameworks and tools
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with AWS IT Services Support and Amazon's cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
- Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible or Puppet
- Familiarity with collaboration tools, such as SharePoint and Exchange
- Experience with metrics and goal-setting to measure team success
- Strong leadership and coaching skills to develop and grow the team
