Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

As a Part-Time Remote Area Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and driving our operations to meet the highest standards of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce: Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises: Ensure that our operations meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with all support teams: Work closely with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans that meet business objectives.
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach: Meet the physical demands of the role, which may include working in a fast-paced environment with variable temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts: Be able to work for extended periods on your feet, with regular breaks to rest and recharge.
  • Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud: Be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with varying noise levels.
  • Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather: Be able to adapt to changing weather conditions and temperatures.
