Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Remote Customer Service Representatives. As a Remote CSR, you will be responsible for processing Medicaid accounts, resolving customer inquiries, and providing exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities
* Process Medicaid accounts, including eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid and Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange
- Provide exceptional customer service to individuals, families, small group employees, and brokers seeking information, enrollment assistance, and other services related to the Maryland Health Connection (MHC)
- Utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to perform all tasks and duties for HIX customers
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and account information
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless account management and resolution of complex issues
- Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards
Requirements
* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- Background in health care, human services, or customer service
- Experience in data entry and call centers
- Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse and disadvantaged populations in a courteous and effective manner
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
- Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a call center environment
- Familiarity with CRM software and other State systems
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
- Experience working with Medicaid and/or health insurance products
Equipment and Internet Connection Requirements
* Desktop or laptop with Intel Core i5 Processor or higher with 8GB Memory (No Celeron or Pentium processors)
- Desktop or laptop with a minimum of 256GB hard drive
- Windows 10 or 11
- Minimum of 1 USB Gen 2 or newer port (wired headset)
- 1 RJ-45 connection for a wired connection to internet router
- Wired Headset and microphone with a USB Gen2 or newer connection
- Video camera capability, necessary for training
- Wired internet connection from computer to router or modem
- Download speed 100 MBPS minimum
- Upload speed 10 MBPS minimum
Training and Onboarding
* Training will be conducted remotely, Monday through Friday, 9:30am-6:00pm EST, for 7 weeks
- Nesting will occur after training, also Monday through Friday, 9:30am-6:00pm EST, for 4 weeks
- Must have perfect attendance during training and nesting
- Must be committed to working the scheduled hours and meeting performance metrics and quality standards
